Lac de la Blanche (2500 m)

Lac de la Blanche is the source of the Aigue Blanche, the river that flows through Saint-Véran. The refuge de la Blanche is located nearby. White are also the cottongrass that brighten up its shores in summer. It is dominated by the Tête des Toilies (3,175 m) and Rocca Bianca (3,059 m), the Roche Blanche.

Lower Lac Blanchet (2746 m)

Overlooked by the Caramantran peak (3025 m), the lower Lac Blanchet at Saint-Véran offers walkers its banks planted with cottongrass.

Upper Lac Blanchet (2810 m)

Not far from the black basalt mass of the Tête des Toilies (3175 m), Saint-Véran's upper Lac Blanchet is set against a mineral backdrop.
